Happy Birthday, Hamlet!
Hi Alex,
We celebrated Hamlet's first birthday with Tango (her older sister) and they got lots of treats and hugs and kisses. They also have a huge basket of toys to play with and antlers to chew on. The two are now best of friends and play together all the time. They sleep together on my bed. Sometimes Hamlet comes over and cuddles with me too. Hamlet got to see his first snow storm when the Hamptons got 2 and a half FEET of snow!! He thought it was very funny and jumped around in it even though it was very cold. He still has beautiful, silky fur.
As I've always told you, Hamlet is the most adorable puppy in the world. He has such a fun personality and will even take a little cat ball and throw it and then run and catch it...then use his paws to get it going again so he can pounce on it. He is very loving and I adore how he uses his paws to actually hug me!
Hamlet is also mischievous and loves digging in the yard (not one of my favorite things he does) but when he comes to the door all dirty and happy, I just rinse him off in the tub. I should have named him "Digger."
He is also a great eater. Lately, he and Tango have been very picky about what I give them to eat (I only give them the best of course but they have turned up their noses at beef stew, steak and salmon)! Things I make for my daughter and me. For some reason they also turned their noses up at my "Coton Meatballs."
In the past two weeks, I think I've found something that is good for them and they love eating. It's Stella and Chewy's raw dehydrated meat, veggies and fruit dog food. They don't like the actual frozen and defrosted version but seem to adore the dehydrated duck, goose, lamb and beef. It's expensive but worth it because it is so good for them. And even more important...they think it's yummy. Makes life easier for me too. It was so frustrating for me to find something they would adore eating. The only treats they like are called "Quackers" which is duck jerky. Tango is allergic to chicken so I don't give them anything with chicken in it.
Remember you thought Hamlet was going to be a very tiny version of a Coton? Well, Hamlet is exactly the same size as Tango now. They each weigh ten pounds. Hamlet is sooo healthy, unlike Tango who often gets allergies and stomach upsets.
You are obviously doing something so right in your breeding! I hope Hamlet's brothers and sisters are as happy and health as he is. I'll email you some photos via my iphone.
Hope all is well with you and your family. Thanks so much for giving us so much joy with the perfect puppy. I'll email you some photos from my iphone.

Happy birthday, ''Sofie"
Hi Alex,
Today is Sofie’s one year old birthday! (I’m sure you already knew that)
It has been cold and rainy outside today and for the last few days, but Sofie is just as cheerful as ever. She’s not a big fan of the rain though. The first time she went out in the rain, a drop fell on her back and she looked at me like ‘why did you do that?’ and ran right back inside. I had to get an umbrella so she could potty. Other than that, Sofie loves just about everything. She has grown up to be a very happy and contented Coton and always full of surprises.
She went to Lake Tahoe for Thanksgiving and she loved the snow. She went out of her way to walk in the snow . She also loved sitting by the window snuggled up in her warm bed and watching the snow fall outside.
Going anywhere is another favorite thing for her…..for a walk in our neighborhood, riding in the car or exploring the yard, anywhere she goes she has fun.
Her favorite ‘toy’ is still the dinosaur chew bone. She loves to play a game of fetch with a big fluffy plush ball. The ball seems bigger than she is when she’s bringing it back, but then she drops it and just waits until you toss it again. You can tell that she’s ready when she lifts her paw just a little. She also enjoys a game of ‘chase’ around the sofa with our other dog Bailey. They run around, then one stops, and then they creep around until they see each other and start running again…it’s very cute. On Christmas, my niece brought over her Bichon. At first they were both a little standoffish, but soon became the best of friends and played with each other the entire time. She still does the cute little thing where she waves her paw to get the other dogs to play.
Sofie is still a cuddler. She will snuggle next to us or on our laps and just fall asleep. Or sometimes she’ll watch TV. She really watches TV. If there is a dog on, she gets very alert, and if it is a dog she doesn’t particularly like, she growls or sometimes even barks. I never realized how many dogs are on TV in shows and commercials.
She weighs a little over 10 lbs, so she is petite, but she has always been a good eater. She has a little routine that she does at dinner time. When she knows we have the food in her bowl, she spins 3 times, then sits, then lays down, then sits again and looks at us patiently to tell us ‘bring on the food’
She is very smart and learns new things quickly but she’s also very sensitive. She brings us so many smiles each day.
Please pass along Birthday wishes to Sofie’s brothers too!
I know it must be so difficult for you each time you send a puppy to it’s forever home, but I hope you can smile knowing they are happy and healthy and bringing fun and happiness to their new families each day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MOCHI!
It was a pleasant surprise to receive updates from one of my puppy,"Mochi"'s very loving, intelligent young human sister. It brighten my day!
Hi, Alex!
Here are some pictures of Mochi's first birthday! It has been raining all day, so we couldn't do very much, but we took him out to get treats, and he loved frolicking in the rain.
Mochi has grown up to be such an amazing little intelligent doggie. He impresses the whole family with his huge personality and his tricks. I've taught him how to bow, dance (where he stands up and walks on his hind legs), and how to wave with his paw. He is so loving and playful and never ceases to amaze us with his lovable personality.
Thanks again for giving us the perfect addition to our family!
Sincerely,
Kacey (and family)

Abigail at the airport.
Scarlet is the most outrageously loving mom who attends to and nurtures her puppies at all times. She is lovingly sensitive to each of her puppies' needs. Not only is she beautiful for her tender personality, but also for her astounding physical aspects. All of her puppies become so confident, strong, and well-rounded as perfect companions--just what us humans are looking for. All in all, she is such an amazing Coton, and I think to myself that every human mom should learn so much from her.
I woke up with sad, sad feeling down pouring my body this morning and I had to get ready for Abigail's airplane trip to her new loving forever mom and her family who are anxiously waiting to meet abigail, today. I've been kept Abigail from many people who wanted her so badly all this time and now I know it is time that I need to let her go for her. I Will be okay because I know that her new loving family who is going to provide so much love and care for my sweet baby, Abigail..

Updates from Le Petite Prince's Mommy
I love these photos of Le Petite Prince and his playmate ragdoll cats. He looks so adorable with that haircut and he just looks like a stuffed toy Coton puppy. I wonder what would happen if I gave that haircut to one of my Cotons who has a huge coat that tangles easily, where we both have go through a not-so-fun dematting session.. :( Anyways, his human parents take him on trips very often by plane. It makes me very happy to see him being loved by his human parents when I receive these kinds of photos.
Little Beau also likes to go out on the boat with us.

Little Beau LOVES to play in the snow. He wears a fleece lined jacket, and
never wants to come inside!!!
One of Little Beau's favorite toys- a "no stuffing" animal.

Turkey Meatball soup for Coton puppies on the rainny day
I like to prepare hearty turkey meatball soup for my Coton families when the weather gets colder or rainy. I took some photos of them waiting in front of the pot. I brought the hot pot out to the patio to cool it down and all my babies are so excited for their supper.
The recipe for this soup made out of Turkey meatball, organic brown rice, organic chicken broth, carrots, peas, cauliflower, parsley flakes, bone meal .
I can't wait to taste it! Isabelle said.
